Clinton comparing wrights words to imus's....
one man decrying injustice against black people, the other man calling a group of black women whores.

I respected her more when she let obama deal with his relationship with wright. Now shes saying obama didnt do enough in the matter? It just gets easier and easier for republicans....

2. I think from now on before she makes any statements.....
We need to make sure she is not sleep deprived!

Senator Clinton have you had your coffee today?

But you are correct she is despicable to bring up Wright.

But to be fair she isn't getting very much sleep.

7. It's perfectly fine for her to reject what wright said in some of those statements.
I mean if wright said he believes the states created AIDS, well, thats off the wall. But to start demonizing wright, it just helps create an "us vs them" climate that just isnt healthy.

Does anyone have a link and/or transcript of the entire speech?

I'm not talking about the soundbites the MSM has been feeding on, but
his entire speech.

Thanks in advance.

15. Wright did say that actually
And he used Holloway as an example. The girl that went missing during spring break in Aruba. Saying she was drunk and asked for it but the thing about it is the girl is still missing. Isn't she??

18. this is the quote i got from wright on the matter from google...
"But, "One 18-year-old white girl from Alabama gets drunk on a graduation trip to Aruba, goes off and 'gives it up' while in a foreign country, and that stays in the news for months!" he added. "Maybe I am missing something!"

Mind you, while i definitely wouldnt agree that that girl was guilty of anything other than being murdered, wrights point was that minority disappearances/rapes get less play in the news than for similar crimes where whites are victims. That point i would agree with, but his manner in delivering that point, well, it sucks ass. How does he think that girl family's would react?

Of course, this has nothing to do with Obama, but i guess thats the point, right?

28. Thank you, George.

The actual quote makes more sense than the inference that Wright "said white girls are asking for it".
He never said that!

I agree with you.

Minority disappearances/rapes and other crimes are often overlooked/ played down/ ignored by the MSM.

Like you, I agree that he has a valid point.

But that girl's body was never found.

I can only imagine how her family must feel.

Yep, it has NOTHING to do with Obama.
But that " minor" point never stopped the opposition from
dragging him into the fray.

19. If your contention is that wright believes that white girls ask for it, you appear to be wrong.
wrights contention was that white victims of crime get more play in the media than black victims.

21. You should get a clue about that
Obama had that vote sewed up at the beginning of the primaries when he started playing the race card before South Carolina. That said, she hasn't been depending on that vote ever.

22. so whats your point, what she said was derogatory to wright but she doesnt need...
the black vote so who cares? Because that's what it sounds like? And when exactly did obama play the race card in south carolina? Was it when Clinton stuck his foot in his mouth with that "jesse jackson" nonsense comparison?

Hillary should just do us all a favor and let obama speak for himself regarding his relationship to wright. Otherwise she ends up making dumb comparisons, like wright and imus.

24. remember when obama said it did not matter that imus had done
so much for children with his money and invested in their welfare at the Imus Ranch for children with cancer, and it did not matter and should be fired.....now with the wright crap, obama wants us to turn the other cheek and allow wrights life's work and not judge him on the vile and bile words.oh plus obama lied about his attendance when wright spoke this anti-every damn thing that was not black.

than wright saying "god damn america" and whatever else he said. You make a good point though in that there definitely should be consistency here.
