Now is the Time For Al Gore To Announce (don't rule Gore Out yet)

This in my opinion would solve a lot of problems and bring the party BACK together! Hey, I can dream can't I?

“If it (the nomination process) goes into the convention, don’t be surprised if someone different is at the top of the ticket,” Mahoney said.

A compromise candidate could be someone such as former vice president Al Gore, Mahoney said last week during a meeting with this news organization’s editorial board.

If either Clinton or Obama suggested to a deadlocked convention a ticket of Gore-Clinton or Gore-Obama, the Democratic Party would accept it, Mahoney said"

1. How many people voted for Gore?
I like Al, but the "disenfranchise" thing would be too big. Obama is the man!

2. I read the article at the link. Mahoney sounds too silly to be a
Congressman.

BTW - Gore-Clinton? don't you know you could go to jail for smoking that stuff!

4. No, those of us who voted for Kucinich, Obama, Clinton, Dodd, Biden, Richardson,
will not be disenfranchised. These people took the time and effort to campaign for votes. The Democratic nominee should be the candidate who actually bothered to run for the nomination. The votes of all of us should count for something.

6. I love Al, but he's more valuable doing what he's doing
He is opening more eyes and minds to the dangers of global warming than he could ever do as President.
