Lieberman is cemented to McCain's ass: is he angling for VP?
Every flipping time I see Joementum, his lips are permanently sewn to John McCain's ass. MSNBC just showed another clip of McCain and Lieberdweeb getting ready for the FP speech this afternoon.

What is going on here, is Joementum out for the Veep position?

10. Porgie wanted him after Rummy, so "they" say, but Poppy overrode!
Bush wanted to be able to start blaming the war on a putative Democrat...!?

24. Right. Not VP, but definitely in the Cabinet
Lieberman said he got all of that out of his system in 2000 and 2004.

5. They've both been right there with Chimp the last few years, too.
Not the best common bond, but whatever floats your boat. As long as they don't actually win. :scared: Which I think would be about half a snowball's chance in hell, thankfully.

And if McCain thinks that would be a bi-partisan ticket, he's sadly mistaken!

8. He has said NO, more than once. He might be angling for SECDEF or SECSTATE...
He helped him win FL, and he was holding his hand on the Israel end of the tour.

Ya never know, though--he could have been demurring to throw people off. Maybe he will be the VP--he's certainly been vetted. The Democrats did all the oppo research on the guy already, AND the GOP did it, too. It's a moneysaver when you only have to research the last eight years!

Perhaps this is the tryout run of "Grumpy Old Men?"

It doesn't appear that John is safe to be unattended. Looks like they have another GW on their hands.

14. Is he McCain's Karen Hughes or his Karl Rove?
I think he plays more of a Karen Hughes role.

I also agree with the predictions he's angling for Secretary of Defense or State.

The day after the new Senate takes their seats and the democratic party has a clear majority. He needs to be stripped of all committe assignments and left to beg the Repugs for a place at the table.
Any legislation he proposes should be tabled by the majority with no review and he should be made to wear a funny hat.

The last act of President-Elect Obama before his inaguration is introducing legislation for a law mandating Lieberman wears the funny at all times while under the capital dome.

His office should also be moved to the subway station.

15. Yes, but it depends on who our pick is
Basically, if we pick Clinton McCain gets to eat up the entire center because the hard right will come out in multitudes to vote against her because they viscerally hate her so much, and Lieberman is a good pick for that. If we pick Obama, McCain doesn't automatically get the support of the hard right, and has to pick somebody (a Huckabee or a Pence) to get them to the polls.

after the bullshit he's pulled. He's trying to position himself as VP while he still can. McCain is his meal ticket.

:sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

I guess Been-A-Dick Lieberman can't find enough rock stars or video games to chastize, so hanging around old horsey McClown is the next best thing.

27. Yes. The GOP's strategy for the GE is to cause a "Jewish Flight"
Someone like LIEberman might create more trust between the formerly democratic Jewish voters and the conservative McCain.
