Poll question: Does Bill and Hillary praising McCain put stink on him with right wing?
It occurred to me that as aggravating as their praise is to many of us on the left, it may actually serve a strategic purpose: the far right already distrusts and dislikes McCain, but they have been conditioned to HATE Bill and Hillary more than anything. Therefore, their praise may put stink on him. But how much?

1. I think they are already hinting to their supporters that it's OK to vote for McCain
in the fall to ensure that Hillary can run in 2012!

2. You don't praise the enemy
and expect it to not have any effect on your own party.

3. Let us find serious complaints. McCain is an American Hero.
Every candidate will always praise his service to the country before
going for the jugular. Obama will do it also. It is like good
political manners.

Listen to Bill and Hillary's complete statement not just the good
manners part.

Find something else to yip about the Clintons. This one does not
count.

Bill and Hillary's praise of deranged, war-loving John McCain will hurt Bill and Hillary because it shows the Clintons to be a couple of petty, right-wing hacks who have selfishly used the Democratic Party to promote and enriched themselves while enabling a right-wing agenda of war, NAFTA, welfare reform, and social service cutbacks. As for the right-wing, they are loving every minute of this. The Republicans were supposed to lose this presidential election. But thanks to the Clintons, a deranged, over-the-hill, war-loving McCain actually has a chance of winning and carrying out a new expansion of the war, no doubt, with the backing of Senator Clinton and other DLC hacks who will later claim they were "duped" by CIA "evidence." Unfortunetly America will get hurt most of all by the Clintons' actions.
