I just gave 40 bucks to Tom Daschle's campaign.
I'm not a big fan of Tom Daschle, but South Dakota races are close, and better Daschle than a Republican.

We need 51 Senate seats.

10. 51 is preferable, so we don't have to agree to a power sharing resolution
As is the precedent after 2000.

Daschle is a decent enough guy from a very red state. I hope he keeps his seat.

But he's too damn timid to be a leader. I would give someone from a safe state the position of the majority/minority leader.

I agree, but in the near future, the Senate Majority Leader will either be Bill Frist of Tom Daschle.

That's why I donated to Daschle.
