1. Blame it on Reagan
There was a minor Reagan bounce just because Shrub was in the news and Kerry wasn't campaigning. Check it next week to see what happens.

2. A gut feeling...

Might it be reason for good cheer if he is below 50% on Faux news?

One day last week, there was a Faux web poll we were encouraged to unFreep. It was about 90 - 10 %, if memory serves correctly.

Is there a chance that their "real" polls are somewhat slanted, too?

(Edited to rephrase for grammar)

3. I think that when the Haliburton indictments are handed down,
and the special prosecutor's investigations start their subpoenas, the contrast will be more obvious, and the gap will be huge.

4. One can only hope
One can only hope that more scandals, the truth, comes out before November.

5. Do not be comfortable until he is out of office.
Polls are fine fun. However, the members of this administration will not stop trying until they are pried out of office, either by loosing the election or impeachment. They are so determined I'm not convinced they'll give up even then.

News reports don't faze them. Laws don't hinder them. They've disregarded court orders and ignored demands from both houses. They don't behave according to what is allowed. They do whatever they think they can get away with, and they are emboldened by what they've been allowed to get away with so far.

Do not ever start feeling complacent with this crowd. Love 'em or hate 'em, they'll eat you alive if you give them the chance.
