Poll question: Will you vote for John Kerry regardless of VP Choice?
I will definitely be voting for Kerry in November, even if I don't like his running mate. I'd rather have a great president and a not-so-great running mate than 3 more Antonin Scalias on the Supreme Court!

4. I think we should be allowed to vote for SCOTUSs
Edited on Thu Jun-17-04 01:06 AM by AmyStrange

like we vote for the president... no that wouldn't work. We'd end up with 12 justices from Florida,

9. Yes
The running mate might effect the level of energy I might put into the campeign but--oh hell even Lieberman isn't as bad as a couple of Bush appointed Supreme Court justices.

14. Yes
I hope it's Edwards or Clark though, so I can feel more enthused.

15. I am not gonna waste my time crying if my choice isn't picked
I want Clark, but it may not happen.

I don't want Vilsack, but it is not gonna change my mind about voting Dem

16. Yep
I like just about all the picks talked about - Edwards, Clark, Gephardt, Graham. Don't know much about Vilsak, but havent heard anything too objectionable (except for people making fun of his name, but that is kinda silly). At this point, whoever gets chosen is fine with me, especially if it comes from those four names I mentioned.

17. No, if he chooses a Republican I would most certainly not.
If he chooses any of the people that are being discussed, I likely will.

18. most certainly
but I'm not concerned about my vote.

I'm concerned about the votes of the folks who are not yet certain to vote for Kerry. And I'm not thinking of moderates or republicans, but rather progressives and others who may vote third party, and non-voters who may not vote at all unless given some reason for hope.

21. If it is McCain or another repub, I stay home.
Hopefully, that bridge to Stupidville has finally been burned and is no longer a concern.

I will not work to elect a republican, so I cannot technically answer yes.
