Clark for Kerry DC fundraiser a HUGE success! |
|
"...with everyone crowded shoulder-to-shoulder. So many arrived, that they were still accepting checks while the General was speaking (Minimum donation = $1000). Wes was introduced by Sen. Cleland, and gave a rousing speech in support of Kerry."--from Clark Blog
He is raising an incredible amount of money for Kerry...WAY TO GO GENERAL!

I love me some General Wes! What a great guy! Remember waaaaaaaay back when he was just coming out of the stable and there were articles about his private sector work? I remember reading that he had contacted several friends and collegues inquiring about how he could turn his military career into a launching pad for speaking engagements. Then he released his personal finances and MAN was he raking in the moola speaking for this guy or that. Given that, I have so much admiration and respect for him today - instead of turning that gold mine of a brain into a personal fortune, he's out using his powers for good (the good of Kerry and the Democrats!)

7. He has sacrificed much personal wealth... |
|
...in order to answer our call, and his call to duty to America. I admire him greatly.
