DU'ers are the BEST! I made it into the Sunday paper!

A few days ago there was a very Rush-byte comment sent to the editor in our local paper. I asked you guys for help drafting a letter in response, and you were quick to come through. Well lo and behold, they finally published it - IN THE SUNDAY PAPER!

I just wanted to say, "thanks" and tell you guys that we won one, not for the Gipper, but for JFK!

But I would like to have seen a paragraph about Kerry vs Bush on trade, and why devaluing labor world wide is the biggest threat to American jobs. Maybe a comment about the US's antipathy to middle classese forming in Haiti, Venezuela, former African colonies, like Nigeria, forces labor values so low that Americans just can't compete, and maybe if Republicans didn't, as a party, push policies that force domestic and international labor values to rock bottom prices, people who work for living in the US would'nt find that the one thing they have to sell -- their labor -- is practically worthless today.

I realized it doesn't matter how much infighting goes on, ultimately it will be John Kerry vs Miserable Failure. I've been trying to prop up Clark for awhile, but I should focus my efforts in a real way; battle in my home state for the guy who is actually, currently, on the ticket.

We have some very well-read, very insightful people here at DU. We need to help each other in ways that MATTER!

Plus, isn't it just the icing on the cake when you can use SNOPES to smackdown the repugs? BWAAAAAAAAHAHAHA!
