Stealing 2004

I just had a horrible thought...

1) The repukes control the vote counting, what with BBV ala Diebold, etc, right?

2) Despite the Republican theft of the 2000 Election, most freepers seem to believe that Al Gore tried to steal the election, and that the SCOTUS saved the country, right?

3) Despite other polls that show Kerry ahead, Fox polls are showing an easy Bush win, right? (see: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x557393)

OK. Now, what if, instead of throwing this election to Bush, Diebold throws it to Kerry, and then helps the Repukes blow the cover off the "fraud"??? Bush Vs Kerry goes to the scotus, Bush WINS, we get 4 more of Bush and the Dem party suffers a thorough and humiliating death.

What's stopping them?

Pestering Congressman Rob Ney (R) of Ohio mercilessly to get HR 2239 out of friggin committee. The dolt has been blocking it for months despite 144 co-sponsors. I'm sure he's ignoring my e-mails by now. Maybe he won't ignore your's. . .

1.Kerry wins election

2.Nov. or Dec. SURPRISE

3.Bushit declares martial law and prevents elected president from taking office.

or

1.October surprise

2.Elections suspended due to martial law.

Could go so many ways, must pay attention.

Watch attendance at Bohemian Grove this year, may be clues.

3. If either of these happen, Repukes look like thieves

the Dems claim their right to take the Whitehouse, and partisan riots consume our cities.

But - If the Repukes "save" the country from Dem "fraud", they look like heroes and the Dems look like the criminals.

Is this foil hat time, or am I just being pragmatic, considering the lengths to which we've seen these assholes strive to solidify their power and promote their goals?

5. It's tin foil hat time

but of course just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to steal the election.

The thing about plutocratic yahoos is, they don't really need office to command power. If they lose their grip on the EOP, they'll slither under their rocks and keep on milking their connections.

They'll fight hard, but they won't risk outright indictment. These guys aren't disposessed Nazis who need to control formal power. They're more like Columbian drug lords who sometimes have puppet candidates and other times just work behind the scenes.

6. Hey Lefty, I'm a lefty too.

Didn't use to need that tinfoil hat, only started when I meditated to see clearly, believe it or not.

I have truly come to believe they are capable of ANYTHING.

And I am not easily convinced without proof or at least too many coincidences, of which I have learned there are no such creatures.
