Stern apologizes to Moore for bashing him during his Oscar rant. Stern then went on to gush over film and offer Moore ANY assistance he might need promoting film..... (these tidbits are from marksfriggin.com)
Howard gave him a standing ovation when he came in. He said the movie brought him to tears when he saw it. and that there have been a lot of people fighting to keep the movie out of the theaters but it is out there now. Howard told him that he can use him in any way he wants to promote the film.
Howard also announced that everyone that goes to see the movie should savetheir ticket and send it in to him for a drawing. They'll pick like 75 guys to go to a Scores party (a strip club)with Howard and the rest of the crew. Moore told Howard that he thinks it's a great idea and he'll go there to shake everyone's hand... on their way in, not on their way out.
Robin told Michael that she took 16 people with her to go see the movie and they had a great time seeing it.
Howard gave Michael a plug for his web site Fahrenheit911.com . Moore said said that like 15 percent of the traffic going to the site is coming from his web site HowardStern.com.
Howard talked about how Moore's movie is not just a documentary, they managed to make it an interesting story as well. Howard said that even Bush supporters could go see it and get some enjoyment out of it.
Howard gave Michael another plug for the movie and then took some phone calls. A woman called in and thanked Moore for everything he's doing. . Moore said it wasn't until Howard came out and started talking about how Bush was lying to them about this stuff that all of this started to really come down on him.
Howard said that if the government forces Moore to stop advertising the movie because it could be considered a politically financed advertisement, he will advertise the movie every day for free for him.
Moore told Howard that Quentin Tarantino told him that he is going to vote for the first time this year because of his movie. Moore said that means a lot to him.
