My girlfriend used to be registered republican because her father, a serious GOPer, was stadning behind her when she filled out her card, so she checked republican just to avoid his shit, but she would not vote Republiacn for love or money. Noitice that part about it not being binding?

Clark voted GOP in most every election of his life. He tried to run as Republican, but as he said, Karl Rove did not return his calls.

My understanding of this controversy is that Wesley Clark wanted a role in fighting Al Quaeda after September 11 and had his friends contact Bush Administration but the Bush Administration didn't offer him a position.

I think that if a Democratic administration had been in power, he would have also sought a position at that time.
