I hope Nova M Radio is happy with their new talk show host, the Left's own Rush Limbaugh. Randi Rhodes is a disgrace and an embarrassment to Democrats, and I can't imagine why any organization (political campaign or business) would want to be associated with her hate-filled rhetoric.

In the first five minutes of her show today, Randi let this one go:

"The Clinton campaign describes Hillary's voters as older, white, and undereducated. Or as we called them in my neighborhood: white trash."



Randi followed this, without a hint of irony or self-awareness, with a screed about how Hillary is an elitist (in part, because she loaned her campaign $5 million). Tell us more about elitism,

I get a little tired of hearing these so-called progressive hosts either ignoring (Edwards) or trashing (Clinton) our candidates in favor of one whose views are certainly no more liberal than either of the others. Either they're progressive or they're not. They all claim that radio is entertainment and they can do what they want because that's what the audience wants, but I'm guessing that they've lost massive audience (and probably not picked up any more) in the name of what they term entertainment. It makes no sense to me.

19. Uhh.... Edwards hasn't been a candidate for months now.

And when he was, I wouldn't say that he was ignored by progressive radio. Thom Hartmann "unofficially" endorsed him, and Edwards came in first or second on every one of his straw polls (usually trading places with Dennis Kucinich.) Sam Seder also was a big Edwards booster (though granted, he's not on the air nearly as much as he should be.) And I believe Mike Malloy also favored Edwards over the others, as long as he was in the race.

The whore media might have been unfair to John, but not our media. (what little there is of it.)

They liked him well enough, but (particularly on Stephanie) they were already well launched into their Barack vs. Hillary WWF match before Edwards left. Occasionally a caller would say something to Stephanie about Edwards, and they'd all say, yes, we like him, and go back to what they were doing.

Rachel Maddow RARELY discussed Edwards.

Thom Hartmann was favorable to him, but then again, he's one of those I can still listen to. Ed Schultz? Forget it. Edwards would appear to be tailor made for his demographic, but I don't think he had enough star appeal for Big Eddie.

I'm an Obama supporter and when she called Hillary a big fucking whore, I thought this will only reinforce what HC supporters belief that the media is beating up on Hillary, even the liberal media. I protested her return, wrote e-mails and haven't listened since she came back so "victoriously" thanks to the Obama supporters.

I've been enjoying the hell out of AAR with out her - Richard Belzer is back tomorrow, he had Lewis Black, Jon Stewart and others. Joy Behar was a hoot with all her rich comedian girlfriends - doing politics and cracking jokes. Belzer back tomorrow and I'm looking forward to hopefully Rosanne Barr - who is rumored to be a guest host.
