Hillary fans: might want to be careful of your newfound media 'friends'
It's almost been hilarious watching various Hillary supporters embracing such right-wing stalwarts like O'Reilly, Hannity, and FAUX News. I know that some of you are just happy for any sort of media coverage you can get, and perhaps even some of you actually believe that they're on your side.

They're not. They're looking out for their own best interests, which includes helping to promote the candidate that they perceive as being the easiest for McCain to beat. They know that the conservative base isn't happy with McCain, so they need all the help they can get.

But make no mistake. Should somehow Hillary manage to secure the nomination, these so-called 'friends' are going to turn on Hillary. You think they're pouring out venom against Obama now? Just wait until they start sinking their teeth into Hillary. Did you learn nothing from the 1990s? They're licking their chops at the chance to drag all that dirty laundry back into the public domain. They're not going to just throw the kitchen sink at you - they're going to dismantle the entire friggin' house, and hit you with everything they've got. I'm sure they're doing their research as we speak, looking for fresh new scandals to hit her with.

Meanwhile, that 'scourge' Keith Olbermann you've been so busy lambasting over the past few weeks? The one who has been critical of Hillary? If she becomes our nominee, you're not going to find a stronger ally than KO. Sure, he's been critical of her, and I probably wouldn't like it if he were going after Obama. But he is a progressive first and foremost, and you can be sure that he's going to do his best to help out our party come the general election. He knows what's at stake should McCain become president.

So you might want to start keeping an eye out for who your true friends are, and those who are suddenly cozying up to you pretending to be your friends. Remember, true friends don't always see eye-to-eye on everything!

1. Some of 'em might not even mind if she got elected
Limbaugh for instance got rich during the nineties attackin the Clintons 24/7. He would love the opportunity to relive those days - he hasn't had much to attack for the past 7 years. It's not about ideology (although there isn't a lot of difference ideologically between the clintons and republicans) it's about profits and the Clintons are great for right wing babblers profits.

2. There is not a Hillary 'fan' alive who trusts the MSM for a nanosecond.
Any 'help' Hillary gets from th MSM will be incidental, accidental and transitory.

The Corporate Media HATES Hillary and Bill. And the feeling is mutual.

In fact, one way I know for sure I'm on the right side in supporting Hillary is because I know she is hated by the media status quo.

Likewise, one reason I know Obama isn't the right guy to be President is because the same media that fawned all over Bush for all those years is now fawning over him.

3. ITA. In fact, you've managed to put into words
what I have been feeling since I noticed the media started drooling over Sen. Obama in November.

4. Obama will be on Fox News Sunday
So you might want to start keeping an eye out for who your true friends are, and those who are suddenly cozying up to you pretending to be your friends.

7. I wouldn't call the occasional appearance "cozying up"
Some (not all) Hillary supporters have been pretty vocal in their support of O'Reilly, FAUX News, etc. And last I checked, Rupert Murdoch wasn't hosting fundraisers for Obama.

I don't think you'll find many Obama supporters happy that he's going on Fox News, but at the same time it's not like he's getting quite comfy with them either.

6. I will no longer vote for Hillary if she was to win the nomination. I'm finished with her. Done.
I might even vote for McCain.
