Kerry lost another point, he's now at 14%..1 point ahead of Clark.

Dean picks up a point.

Undecided loses one point..but 1 point goes into 'other'.

Everyone else is the same as yesterday.

The text underneath the poll chart speculates that Kerry will not continue to lose any more percentage points because 93% of the people who are now supporting Kerry say that their support is solid.

It's been a while since we've had a poll from Iowa (kind of surprising, really), but the latest (Dec. 10) has:

Dean: 41
Gephardt: 23
Kerry: 15
Edwards: 10

Kerry is not my candidate, but it's that kind of attitude coming from Dean supporters that led me to look elsewhere.

It galls ME immensely that Dr Dean and (many of) his supporters would include Dennis Kucinich in that statement.

Here's a statement or two for you...

"Dennis Kucinich believes the only way to stop these unconstitutional infringements on basic American freedoms is to revoke the exorbitant powers the PATRIOT Act has granted the government. He is the only presidential candidate who voted against the PATRIOT Act. As president, one of his first moves will be to repeal it."

"Dennis Kucinich led the effort against the war in the House of Representatives, is the only candidate who voted against the war, is the only candidate who consistently opposed the war from the beginning and continues to oppose it now, and is the only candidate with an exit strategy. His "Prayer for America" speech against the buildup to war in February 2002 catalyzed this campaign. Rev. Al Sharpton and Ambassador Carol Mosley-Braun also opposed the war.

The war is not over. Soldiers are dying every day. And Dean would like to continue the military occupation of Iraq for "a few years," as he said in the debate on December 9th. Dennis is campaigning on his record of opposition to the war and his plan to end it in 90 days.
Dean's flyer and mass mailing effectively calls Dennis a liar. People have begun asking Dennis whether he really opposed the war. Dean knows the truth. After we complained in October about his similar misrepresentations in TV ads in New Hampshire, he acknowledged Dennis' leadership against the war at an AFL-CIO forum and stopped running the ads. He later acknowledged Dennis' courage on this issue during a national debate. And yet he continues to use a flyer that says "Only Dean Opposed the War from the Start."

If Dr. Dean chooses to gloss over the inconsistencies of the positions he took during the first stage of this war, that's his business. But when he denies Dennis's record, that becomes our business, and it ought to be the business of the media. Dean is misrepresenting a material fact, and doing so despite his demonstrated knowledge of the truth."

I do like Dean, but I also like Clark, Sharpton and Kucinich. So, lay off the "blame Dean supporters" lines unless you know for certain that they're a Dean supporter. Kerry should take a look at several of his own "constructive comments" that he's made about Dean and Clark first IMO.

through that ad he is running that has the children and Kerry comes on and says something like "As President I won't send kids to war for oil". Since he voted for IWR, people think he's being hypocritical.

If he wants to help himself, he'd pull that ad and put out a different one.
