Florida Demands Representation (the Nuclear Option)
As most of you know, I am on record as a Hillary supporter. I just wanted to call attention to the fact that the group list above, Florida Demands Representation, currently seems to be in 'heavy' organizational mode. While I put my *tinfoil* hat firmly on, I think it is no coincidence that I received my FIRST (unsolicited) email from them the day before Hillary is expected to do pretty well (probably winning IN and coming close in NC).

Where did this group get my email? Is it coordinating with the Hillary Clinton campaign?

It seems to me that Hillary is setting the stage for a full-court press (if not nuclear option) concerning Florida and Michigan if she does very well today.

I hate to report this, but there you have it... I think she is coordinating with this group (and others???) in Florida and elsewhere. :(

Here is the email I received:

Rally at Democratic National Committee Headquarters

Our protest rally, in a coalition with LULAC and other civil rights group, was a huge success. We received major press coverage and had a meeting with the Executive Director of the DNC. Please click here to read more about it and see videos broadcast on CNN and MSNBC.

Orange Crush Project

FDR has launched a new campaign, Project Orange Crush. This can be a lot of fun! We need to send a message, and quickly, to the Rules & By-laws Committee since they will be meeting May 31st. Please participate and learn more here....

5. I am a known activist and have donated to Hillary's campaign
So, that makes me a prime target...

Most likely, the Clinton campaign shared their email rolodex with this group.

8. oh, whew, I haven't given a dime to Hilbot so I guess I'm safe then, right?...
I heard that the FL Dem leaders were in bed with the Rep. high-ups, though, anyway. A friend of mine who worked as a party leader can't even talk civilly about it without getting upset. She seems to know a lot that John Q. Public in Florida does not. What say you?

4. Florida deserves representation.
They pay taxes like the rest of us do.

And, last I knew... many of them are retired. Meaning they have paid into our country for 40+ years.

Florida WILL HAVE representation. The question is, do we want to relinquish it all to McCain, so early in the game.

6. I'm retired and paid my taxes....but Obama wasn't even here to campaign yet so
until he can come, I don't think we should be represented until it is an even and fair fight.

11. And sadly, my congressperson, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, is one of the leaders of this travesty
I am so disgusted with her- and so horribly disappointed that she would take a position that totally disenfranchises those of us who voted knowing our vote would not count. I worked for her and was so proud of having her represent me- but not any more. I wanted to throw things at the t.v. last night when she was on Larry King screaming at Ed Schultz - she and the rest of them who are hiding behind this sham of "protecting our rights" should be ashamed of themselves. But then again, Hillary appears to have no shame, based on how she and her people (which is who these folks are- ALL OF THEM ARE HILLARY PEOPLE) are running this campaign.

12. Glad to hear it! They should be seated based on the election
Florida should go nuclear if they have to.
