The right wing media is already spinning Edwards
The AOL headline that greets me as I log in is a picture of Edwards and the quote from his speech 'Are you sick of it?' That sounds like a horrible personal attack on George Bush and the Republican party. That's not at all what Edwards meant, but I'm sure many people will read that and skip the article.

3. look at what some of the news media is doing....
I just checked some of the major news media at 10:00 pm PST to see how they are covering Edwards's speech. This is what I found:

CNN: Edwards's speech is off the front page (tucked in a small link lower in the screen), in place is the Kerry Nomination finalization, which includes a link to an article: "Republicans press Kerry's record with new video"

MSNBC: Kerry's nomination finalization is at the front page, the first link to the right is of Kerry's speech. Second link however is an analysis (from a Pundit obviously) that says: "Analysis: What Edwards didn't say"

FOX NEWS: Surprisingly, Edward's photo is in the front page, with the headline: "Kerry Gets Nomination; Edwards Promises 'Hope'"

CBS NEWS: "Edwards Preaches Politics Of Hope"

ABC NEWS: Coverage is average, but just below the headlines, shows this story including a picture: "Top Democratic donor friendly with convicted hit man. "

6. I don't know who's more disgusted with the mainstream media...
Michael Moore or me.

If MM doesn't make a new movie about the media whores cheerleaing us into Bushism disaster, I WILL!!!

Like Edwards, I'm a sucessful lawyer, and can afford it. But I don't think I have MM's money, charisma, or media attention. Maybe I can write MM my ideas... ?

10. But AOL doesn't write the headlines.
Those articles are mostly from the AP.
