Will the next few days be as bad for Obama in the media as the days after PA?

After all, his delegate lead didn't suffer much at all and Clinton only netted 12 whole pledged delegates from her last big state (PA) but the media narrative shifted tremendously and I even remember reading on FirstRead that Clinton would soon be the new frontrunner in the race.

Will we see that same kind of nonsense in the next few days after West Virginia? Will Clinton be annointed right back in the game?

Considering Obama is nearly 200 delegates up, I don't think so but I don't underestimate the media's desire to resurrect their preferred candidate, Senator Clinton.

How bad do you think the next few news cycles will be for Senator Obama? Hopefully a flood of superdelegates stops this nonsense, which I could understand if West Virginia altered the math at all, but it doesn't, so it's ludicrous.

I already see articles saying "Obama braces for West Virginia setback." The media turned Clinton's 7 pledged delegate and 12 pledged delegate pick-ups in Ohio and PA into huge turning points. What's to say they don't this time?

in fact every headline i've seen in the msm regarding the "blowout" predictions always say something like "still won't change the outcome" or "even still, hillary expected to concede" etc etc.

the MSM is saying that this win doesnt amount to much for Hillary. Plus, he's rolling out 8-9 super delegates a day. Obama is managing the WC "loss" very well.

7. Watching the Media today, I think they have come to terms with the fact that...

this Primary is (for all intensive purposes) over. The SD's are moving very steadily toward Obama and the MSM is talking about this more and more.

9. WV is about 1/5th the populations and delegates of PA.. No big deal..

It wont make much news. 1 day coverage at most.

11. Good question it's hard to be sure

If it doesn't occur, I think it will either be because.
1.)The media continues the "It's over narrative"
2.)Obama releases a ton of superdelegates, assuming he has them lined up, to stem her campaign's gains
3.)People realize that unlike PA, W.V. is not considered a swing state in the fall to many (despite wolfson's contentions)
4.)The clinton campaign was successful in pushing the "double digits" "significant" theme in P.A. and she matched that in the math of many of the news corporations (yeah I know not in the way I round things up) Much lower expectations here.
Although despite this I think this will still be a narrative that may have some push,we'll see how much. But it's not going to stem the tide of super delegates in my view, in fact it may accelerate them (although they may use it to push for a V.P. slot) we'll see

The problem is that if the repubs try to continue wiht this narrative, many democrats are going to be in a reduced capacity to directly defend against the attack, because quite a number in our own party pushed this thing (or said nothing)
