..In history, there is an example, of someone who they said could not win. He had terrible ratings, and everyone said it was impossible. Harry Truman in March 1948. All books said that he could not win. Every writer said he could not win. It was impossible.
Yet he won. What did he do? July, August, September, October..he went around the country talking to people on a train. When people saw and listened to him. He made connections. People felt ok, and he touched him. By October, the climate had charged and he won in November.
..Obama is going around the country..now..everywhere, talking to everyone. Answering questions, making connections. Stopping, and taking time to listen. .. and like Truman, after he listens, he tries to respond as honestly as one can.. . Like Truman, after listening to him, seeing him, people say that he is ok, would make a fine President.. They tell their friends and that is the best advertising there is. "Yea, I saw him, listened to him, he is ok." ..People to people.
..It is May. Obama is connecting..now..He can win. He will win.
