23. That vote is relevant beyond the Primaries, in the GE, because many folks are

feeling betrayed by the IWR. It IS evidence that the system no longer works for us. People, Red, Blue, Pink, Purple, WANT to punish someone for the Invasion and Occupation of Iraq. McCain is at least in the position of trying to "make good" on the error by pumping more lives and money into it. He will talk about "victory". HC isn't in the position of trying to make good on the war. She CAN'T talk about Victory and Bring The Troops Home AND she voted for it. It's Kerry all over again. She will say, "I was lied to just like the rest of you." But to believe that, all of us must think that she isn't smart enough to have seen the lie like many others saw it and voted No. She vaunts this great political savvy, EXCEPT when she needs to blame things on others.

The Hillary all of us have come to know has demonstrated in this Primary season and throughout her life that she WILL do anything for her political goals. That includes an at least 50:50 probability that she supported an at least 50:50 probability of War BECAUSE she planned to run for pResident. And, yes, I know that 50:50 (in both of those sets of conditions) is indeterminent, but that's a conservative estimate of the sets of factors at the time and, given the risks to benefit ratio for WE THE PEOPLE, and the most horrible things in the World happening, the risk was waaaaaayyy tooooooo high.

All one has to do is suggest that a video exists and get everybody talking about it. There is a segment of the populace that, even though they never any such video, will remember that "Obama's wife screamed "whitey" in a church in 3 or 4 months.

It's like Obama being sworn into the Senate on a Koran. It never happened, but there are people who are convinced that it did.

Having Michelle at events where the public gets to see her and "know" her wouldn't hurt either. People are less prone to accept unsubstantiated rumors about people of whom they have a positive impression.

I think you have to consider the offensiveness of the rumor. For example, I agree with Obama touting his Christianity to combat Muslim rumors, but I don't think that he should justify Larry Sinclair with an official response.

If the tape exists at all, it's obviously a CIA cut and paste job, just like all the video tapes from Osama Goldstein that keep surfacing whenever it's convenient for the Bush Crime Family.

Odds are that Larry's edits were a little too obvious and they pulled the plug on the project.

Or maybe the Hillary campaign themselves told Thug Larry not to bother since other reports today have Hillary finally accepting reality.
