You should all view this, think about it, talk about it, and try to figure out if it's correct.

I think it's a really good method that appears to be unbiased. It's simple math and it may be showing us the truth.

It takes all the recent polls from each state and compiles them to determine how the electoral votes might turn out if the election were held today.

Why do you conclude that South Carolina, Rhode Island and Maine are swing states? That's silly.

4. check out the table

Go look at the table -- they're not close but still undecided. The states are white until one side gets less than a tenth of an electoral vote.

5. You're right- that is a huge problem.

Because with that methodology, Kerry is given a percentage of the electoral votes of all the swing states. So it all just ends up coming down to which states you call "swing," and which you don't.

It doesn't seem to me that Colorado, South Carolina, Maine, Rhode Island, or Virginia should be swing states.
