1. Sometimes when I hear Shrub
I think of the character Chauncy Gardener in "Being There." All Chauncy could do was repeat sound bites he had heard on TV. And everyone was swayed by how good and wise Chauncy was.

5. I thought Kerry wasn't planning to visit the affected areas in Florida?
Edited on Mon Aug-16-04 08:03 AM by tandot
That would have been honest compassion. At least Kerry had compassion enough not to inconvenience all the people already affected. Bush was driving his motorcade through these areas and diverted desperately needed personnel so his incompetent a** is protected.

I don't mind him going to Florida. But he could have just surveyed the area with a helicopter and then give is "compassionate" speech from some place else in Florida.

This a**hole would do anything politicize a disaster. He is still using 9/11 and he won't hesitate to use the disaster in Florida.

7. I saw him strutting around half-cocked
what a political side show. It makes me sick the way he is using this for political gain. They interviewed one guy who said this right out!
