I know plenty of people his age plus or minus a few years that are clued in, My Dad is a few years younger then McCain but knows what's going on, my Nana is 87 and is very well informed, one of the funniest things she said to me was "Dear there was never that Reagan, i don't who they are (rw) talking about, but that person never existed in real life". McCain is just clueless about what's going on in this country much like Bush was and is but Bush had the fake "Aw shucks" bullshit going for him and McCain doesn't.

I drive 2 of my elderly neighbors to the polls, both well in to their 70's, one is super cranky and gives me endless shit but he knows the score.
