The price of a barrel of oil has risen well over $100 a barrel since these two clowns took office, and their oil and gas buddies have made record profits.

They must really relish how they are gouging us at the pump and at the same time, hoping the pain will get us to cry uncle, and let them drill wherever they like.

However, we know that we cannot drill our way out of dependence on oil--foreign or otherwise. We must become more fuel efficient and use alternative forms of energy for transportation and our other energy needs.

I think the thing that gets me is picturing them laughing and slapping each other on the back for pulling a good one off on us.
