I'm watching McCain speak in Vegas. It's painful.
Every time I've seen him speak, he comes off as fatigued and cranky.

He needs a nice bowl of soup and a nap.

2. I also find his manner of speaking annoying.
He puts on this sing song voice as if he were talking to children. What's up with that? He really think the voters are children.

6. The CONSTANT repetition of the phrase...
...."my friends," is just too much!

He simply drips condescension and insincerity.

...a creepy, student-fondling, pilly-sweatered shop teacher from a friend of mine's high school. :(

4. This man is a fool. He says in one breath basically that we have to drill but then
he wants cap and trade to drive to different energy alternatives.

You can't have it both ways.

5. He sucks the energy right out off any room he speaks in.
It's like hearing someone recite a VCR manual.

9. A McCain Joke....

On their anniversary, Cindy McCain dressed in a skimpy outfit, walked into their bedroom and said to John McCain:

"I'm here to give you super sex!"

John thought about it for a few seconds and then responded, "Given those choices, I'll take the soup."

15. I don't know how you can take it. I really don't.
I can't stand listening to that lying sonovabitch for longer than 20 seconds before I start screaming at the tv.

He is the most two-faced, biggest lying bastard I have ever seen get on tv.
He makes Geraldo look genuine.

16. Do you think Republicans will replace him?
Could they decide that he is such a poor candidate that he is replaced "for health reasons" by whom they feel is a stronger candidate?

17. It'd be more painful if he was our candidate and Obama was theirs
By which I mean if the Democratic candidate was as eloquent as McCain and the Republican candidate was as eloquent as Obama. Though I doubt Republicans would nominate a candidate as eloquent as Obama due to their deep-rooted anti-intellectualism. They prefer folksiness to book-larnin.

19. He never really had to run a campaign before in Arizona.
He was always a shoo-in, and the only other time he was actually opposed, in 2000, he lost.

20. The audience - can't call them a crowd - at McCain events
resembles mourners at a wake. Sometimes I think they round up the handful of twenty-somethings and token black person and place them right behind McCain thinking they'll have themselves an Obama rally, but the old geezers nodding off always give them away.

21. There was this one he did where he had a row of teenagers behind him
They were a racially diverse group but they had one thing in common. They looked bored.

Hope he paid them more than minimum wage.

There are those here who will chide you for daring to point out a “problem” McCain has and grump about your not being fair towards him.

I wish I was kidding... :(
