I've been curious for a while. Have absolutely no clue who it might be.

12. Probably Hynes.
He would do a great job, and he already knows this state. He made an effort to visit every county and every Democratic organization in every county as comptroller.

I don't think Schakowsky and Blago get along that well. But she would be great as a Senator.

I have it on very good authority that Lisa Madigan does not want to be governor right now. She has young children. Maybe she may not feel this way later, but I don't think she is interested in the job at this time. She is great where she is.

I can't figure out my state. We have a wealth of good leadership and leadership potential. But Blagojevich, Mike Madigan and Jones ruin everything by fighting. I wish those three would just go away.

2. I wouldn't mind seeing ...
Lisa Madigan, or Dan Hines

Lisa Madigan is the Illinois Attorney General, and Dan Hines is the State Comptroller.

6. Another thought would be Jessie Jackson Jr who is also a US rep from
Chicago. It would be sad if there will be no African Americans in the senate again. Anyone know if the dems have any African Americans running for senate?

5. I want Jan Scharkowsky, she wrote a bill to go after blackwater.
She's in the US house. She's a very aggressive lefty and she's already said she wants the seat and she's on Obama's elcetion committee a huge Obama supporter. That doesn't mean Gov. Blagoavich likes her. But, I think Obama would have a little influence there.

20. Some possibilities:
Danny Davis, Tammy Duckworth, Luis Gutierrez, Jay Hoffman, Jesse Jackson, Jr., Emil Jones, and Jan Schakowsky.

Strengths and weaknesses of each are listed here.
