5. I have a question about these purple states.

Zogby shows Ohio as:

Summary:
Obama - 43%
McCain - 38%
Barr - 7%
Nader - 2%
Someone else - 4%
Undecided - 8%

And it's listed as purple.

But, it shows Tennessee as:

Summary:
McCain - 41%
Obama - 36%
Barr - 7%
Nader - 1%
Someone else - 6%
Undecided - 9%

And it's listed as deep red.

In both states, the polling shows that one candidate leads another by 5 percentage points, that Barr has 7 percent and that Nader has similar numbers.

So... why is Ohio purple and Tennessee red? Shouldn't they both be purple? Or are only states in which Obama is leading considered "too close to call."

BTW, I'm in Tennessee and this is the first "new" poll that has come from my state since April 3 ("new" is in quotes because I'm not quite sure how old this is) and I'm surprised how close it actually is. I realize Tennessee probably will go McCain, but I knew it wasn't as deep of a red that the other polling sites show simply because the sites were also showing our neighbors - NC, VA and GA - as turning blue to purple and we pretty much track closely to them.

Anyway, any thoughts on why the discrepancy here?

8. Similar situation w/ OK and FL

They call it deep red for McCain, but with the margin of error at +5%, and undecideds at 6%, it seems that McCain may have a fight there as well.

On edit: Florida is even closer, but still deep red for McCain!

10. Zogby is Taking into Account the "Red Shift" That Has Occurred The Past 2 Presidential Elections

Zogby is allowing for election fraud by the Republicans, which has caused a "red shift" of up to 5% of the vote.
