When it was RUMORED that Pelosi was going to block the contempt charge on Rove... too many people here were ready to burn her at the stake.

I *almost* stood up and defended her, but since I had already stuck my neck out for Obama on his FISA stance, reporting the facts that noone here seemed to care to listen to, I was labeled a Bush-enabler, a fascist, even a Nazi. It was so much fun being attacked here :sarcasm:. I was worried that if I said, "hey, according to who?" I would be banned from this site.

But now it turns out that the rumors against Pelosi were just that. Rumors and nothing more. She is not blocking the contempt charge.

My, my, my, so many here have so much crow to eat. Happy dining. Maybe next time people here will chew on a little facts before rushing to the sweet desert of pre-judgemental revenge. The truth is much healthier for you anyway.

14. I commend you and MERH on FISA. I definitely took notice of the language when I read the

posts from you guys. I know it's a risk here, but I think you guys definitely enlightened a few of us who want as much information as possible and do our own research---without depending on people we "trust" to do it for us. Most who are so loud are reading an old FISA or not even reading it but hearing what others say cause they're too damn lazy.


Never give up on the fight and keep this perspective alive man. Some of us are listing and are definitely older than 5 year olds so we don't waste time on name calling.

I went to a "Town Meeting" last evening with Governor Patrick here in Massachusetts, and I firmly told him we will NOT allow him to be part of the Obama Administration. We will build a wall around the state if we have to, but President Obama CANNOT HAVE HIM!

the truth is that our 'leaders' have continually thrown us under the bus as they rolled over for Bush. So a rumour that they are planning to throw us under the bus again and roll over for Bush Inc. again is all too believable. They simply don't have enough cred to make people say 'Are you sure, because they have never let us down in the past?'

Just to be sure we saw that THEY HATED NANCY TOO. A couple of lines above the Nancy blocking contempt thread there came a brand new thread -- F*** NANCY PELOSI or something like that. And what's the fresh topic they needed a new thread for? Nancy blocking contempt. But I guess their anger was more intense than the original so they needed a brand new thread for their precious feelings?

If people would just take ten seconds to look for an existing thread and join that instead of starting their own, that would help a lot.

I didn't post any threads on it but was willing (because of Pelosi's past behavior) to believe it was true - I'm relieved to find it is not.
But, you can have the other half of my crow because nothing, nothing, NOTHING good is coming from Obama's FISA vote - it was a colossal fuck-up
