Question Obama all you like, Just please cut the Melodrama!
There has been so much pissing on this forum that the admins are actively considering buying a sump pump. Both sides are to blame for this crap. We who have defended the nominee have acted as if any criticism of him at all will lead to our loss, when many of those we have argued against have already pledged, and pledged again to vote for him in November, we can't ask much more of them than that.

On the other hand, there seems to be an ongoing flagellation-festival in honor of the death of the Republic and the Constitution. FOLKS, UNTIL * DECLARES MARTIAL LAW AND OVERTHROWS THE GOVERNMENT, THE REPUBLIC LIVES, AND THE CONSTITUTION CAN STILL BE SAVED. Your concern for our constitution and civil liberties is laudable and noted, please donate your time and money to the ACLU if you can.

But everybody, if we can't talk about this without resorting to the hyperbole of tabloid journalists and 13-year-old girls upon seeing the newest pop-tart du jour, then maybe we should just let this topic go. Surely there are other things going on while we tear into each other.

7. As frustrating as such behavior might be,
We all (at the very least I will admit to it) have been guilty of reactionary screaming at one time or another. Name calling, whether it be (insert candidate here)bots, freeper, fascist, etc. are not helpful.

9. While I largely agree with you, as someone who still does support
Obama, I certainly have not acted as if criticism of him was out of bounds. Hell, I expected the melodrama and hysterics. It's typical around here.

10. That it's normal I accept,
but eventually someone has to point out that we are sh*tting where we eat, if only to give us a chance go hose off the floor. Today it's me, tomorrow someone else will chime in.

12. Agreed
I think there are a number of grandstanding posts on both sides, but when you get rid of all of that, we have to realize that we just signed a very bad bill. I am looking to place blame, but not on Obama's shoulders.....very little goes there.

Hoyer, Pelosi, and Reid, on the other hand x(
