an overweight baldy sitting in his arm chair wearing a t-shirt that says "O'Reilly Is God", watching a giant TV screen containing the image that was actually on the cover.
If you want to satirize the media's portrayal of Obama, then do that.

to understand satire. It just comes to me, like in a dream, and I have a subscription to New Yorker like an overwhelming number of Americans do so I "get" their humor and know their political leanings.
