1. The campaign is having a big strategy meeting this evening in Des Moines.

They have invited supporters of Edwards and Clinton to attend to discuss how we can win in Iowa. So far it looks good but I don't believe for one minute that it is going to be easy.

I'm going to attend this meeting and it should be very interesting. I like how the Obama's campaign is recognizing other candidate's supporters. I admire the attempt to unify the local party activists.

2. It may well be easy here

The RPI (Republican Party of Iowa) is continuing to make Iowa more and more blue by throwing all of its old-school and economic based republicans under the bus in favor of religous theocrats. If the RPI platform passes as written, Obama will win by 10+, we could pick up 7 house statehouse seats (60D-40R), and pick up 5 state senate seats (35D-15R).
