"This is a war we have to win"......
The fight against terrorism is NOT a war and cant be won anymore than the WAR on drugs can be won. God, I hate when the right wing talking points are repeated by our leaders.

2. In context, it made sense to me.
He is discussing what a "win" is, and it is radically different from what the RW thinks is a win. In fact, better that "our" leaders reclaim the "win" word and used it appropriately, as opposed to being accused of trying to lose.

4. A price that must be paid to win this election.
Obama will have to sound more hawkish than he is to counter charges of being weak on terrorism.

5. He sounds stronger, but not more Hawkish than the GOP.
I believe he also sounds saner

6. I would imagine the war on terror will disappear when the neocons
are all out of town and better yet if they get locked up.
