Obama On Loose Nukes (new Ad running)

In advance of his big speech today on the Iraq War and national security priorities, Barack Obama has released a new TV ad in which he deems the possibility of nuclear weapons falling into the hands of terrorists "the single most important national security threat we face."

In the spot, entitled "America's Leadership," Obama highlights his work with Sen. Richard Luger, an Indiana Republican, to "lock down loose nuclear weapons." The Luger-Obama initiative was signed into law by President Bush last January.

The ad will air in will air in Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Virginia.
