If I felt it hurt Obama or had no legs, I probably would've glossed over this and not posted. However, I can see Jackson saying this remark...which in my mind is even worse than the possibility of this rumor really existing.

As with the New Yorker cover, some may take his comments seriously and agree with them, but for the most part, I think people will grow tired of too many slurs and slings directed at Obama, especially if what they see and hear of him on the campaign trail induces a real disconnect with the smears and insults.

I think if the media tries to pile on, they could see a backlash that favors Obama.
