Did anyone see Obama's senior foreign policy advisor call out Andrea Mitchell today?
Edited on Tue Jul-15-08 05:04 PM by ErinBerin84
Andrea Mitchell was being horrible as usual and making no sense, and Obama's senior foreign policy advisor was having none of it. Andrea Mitchell was at first trying to make it seem like Obama was being foolishly naive for taking a hard line before visiting Iraq, and then asked if he was "moving to the center" with Iraq. Finally, Obama's senior foreign policy advisor (I forget his name, I am so used to seeing Susan Rice as the surrogate) said "Ok, first, you're trying to say that he's being too to the left on Iraq, and now you are saying that he is being too much to the center?" and Andrea Mitchell got all haughty and said "That's NOT what I am doing..." and he said "Uh yes you did, you just did that with those two questions there." It cracked me up. I also turned it on later to see Tamron Hall (who I actually like the best usually out of the day anchors
) with John Mecham ask Jim Webb a question that made absolutely no sense (in relation to something Obama said today) and Jim Webb just blinked and said "Uh....yeah, I'd rather answer the question using my lifetime of knowledge about it rather than some soundbyte of something that you claim Senator Obama may or may not have said..."

1. Yes!! They MUST start doing this kind of thing with the media.
Only when they are called out on live tv, will they start to be more neutral in their positioning.

Great stuff.

Thanks!

The media is biased and the more they are allowed to get away with,
the more biased they will become.
It is a sad thing,
but there's little to do but to call them out on it.
That includes us doing it as well.

5. yeah, and after that she was pissed and
asked him why 72% saw McCain as a better commander in chief. You know, I turned it on a couple of times today (I took today off of work, they actually have it on all of the time in the office next to me), and each time they showed those ABC poll numbers, they only showed the commander in chief thing. I had no idea that Obama polled eight percentage points ahead nationally until I read it here....

8. that's him, thanks.
And what the FUCK does John McCain have against the Czech Republic? I mean, I can take him making the mistake a few times, but the jackass made it again today? And is the MSM really swallowing his "Surge in Afghanistan!" crap? The couple times I flipped it on today, I wasn't near a computer, and I thought "Uh, am I on glue?" They're letting him get away with this? I shouldn't been surprised anymore, but he just keeps raising the bar.
