1. Have to catch the repeat later tonight.
I normally watch the Newshour, but tonight music was needed more than news. Far, far more.

Thanks for the headsup. I may even be done drinking by 11 tonight.

Or not. Tunes are sounding good...real good. (insert drunken DUer icon here)

2. Hey, Forkboy, catch you soon! He's everywhere, on Larry
King tonight, too. And I'm doing one of these myself:

This is a good interview, BTW.

6. No cable here.
So no Larry King (this is bad?)

I will try to catch the Newshour though. I may be in a minority here, but I like Gwen and thinks she's ok. I've seen her defend Obama a few times now while trying to maintain impartiality, so I'm curious to see the interview.

Of course, music may interrupt any plans for later. I'm a music junkie and have lots of fixes to play this evening. ;)

7. Did you catch Obama's speech today? I hope so. As for LK,
you probably won't miss a darned thing. Gwen was good, as was Obama. Let the music flow!

10. I didn't.
I have to say, while I'm not thrilled with Obama, he's got my vote hands down. As such, I'm kind of uninterested in the campaign itself, as I usually am when it comes to a General Election. I just want to see McCain beaten like a narc at a biker rally. :)

Obama will do a lot of good things, despite my far lefty reservations. I may not be the choir that people preach to, but I'm hanging just outside the doors and listening to the gospel. ;)

11. Fear not-here it is if you're interested.
Worth a listen, but I understand if you're not interested.

".....The fact of the matter is on the big issues -- ending the war in Iraq, universal health care plan, a tax code that is fair for every American, having a serious plan to deal with this foreclosure crisis, capping the emission of greenhouse gases, increasing fuel efficiency standards on cars, investing in our infrastructure, increasing troops in Iraq, getting serious about a whole host of issues around civil liberties like closing Guantanamo and restoring habeas corpus -- on those big issues that are going to determine the future of this country and whether or not ordinary Americans can achieve the American dream, I have been entirely consistent not just during this campaign, but through most of my adult life. And so I don't think it's going to be hard to persuade people what I stand for because the truth is the things that I stand for today are the things I stood for 10 years ago and 20 years ago. And that's what we're fighting for in this campaign and that's what, I think, is going to lead to our ultimate success in November."
