The government had more income, so it had to borrow less, so there was more money available for business to borrow for expansion purposes.

NOT on the middle or lower classes ....

It is unfair to characterize the Clinton tax increases as if they were universal .... they were not ....

They raised taxes ..... on the rich ... not on me ....

On the other hand: My WAGES increased, which increased my family's purchasing power, which allowed us to buy more, which helped others also work and make more money, and pay more taxes BECAUSE they made more money ....

22,000,000 million jobs .....

Sheeesh .... It was like fuckin nirvana ....
