Obama for America?

I made a mistake and answered the phone and ended up pledging a donation for Obama.

The form that I received instructs me to send the check to "Obama for America" in Cambridge.

Is this legit?

(One never knows these days).

5. I cannot find a form on his site

and the address there is in Chicago, not Cambridge, MA. This is why I am not sure.

All of a sudden there is a breach of security someplace and one has to fear identity theft.

Then there are the emails.

These days I am being bombarded by emails from every merchandise and services that I have ever used, mostly hotels and ticketmaster (last time I used them was 4 years ago).

i check them and my bank every day to make sure there isn't any unauthorized activity.

e-mails. well what can i say? i just delete most of them without reading them.

This could be legitimate. "Obama for America" is the actual name of the committee, and there could be a fundraising company based out of Cambridge handling the donation. Also, ActBlue is run out of Cambridge. Still, to be safe, use the official site.
