VP Choice For McCain

last nite on Hardball there was much speculation who John McCain's VP choice will be, there was some question about the possibility of Romney, mind you this was speculation. What do you guys think?

1. I just read this on Romney:

Speculation has focused on Romney in recent weeks, but contrary to reports that Romney will join McCain in New Orleans on Thursday, his aides say he is on vacation in Ontario and has had no invitations to join McCain this week.

2. Willard would be a choice that would give department store mannequins

hope.

There's an odd, creepy vibe to Romney, even more than most Republicans, I mean.

He's eerily mechanical with a smooth sinister way of speaking. Creeps me out big time.

Unfortunately I think he's very high on McCain's likely short list.

3. My sister - who isn't political at all - said there was no way...

...she would vote for McCain if he chose Romney - so I say "go for it"

5. Willard would probably be a strong choice, BUT...

...it seems to me that romney would still be looking @ 2012.

If so, he'd be better serves with mcsame losing. This way he can run from an atacking perspective, rather than having to defend 12 years of the cheney/bush/mcsame administration. Also, whatever they say, the 2 men still hate each other.

It also seems to me that mcsame announcing his vp choice before Obama does can give a bit of an advantage to Obama. msm or no msm, mcsame is desperate after the Obama trip, and that is never the best position from which to make a decision.

IMHO, if mcsame goes with a woman or ethnic running mate, it would be SUCH OBVIOUS pandering (as usual).

6. I say he digs up Strom Thurmond ...

It would energize his base and shore up his domestic agenda, which seems to be generally summarized as screwing people, lying about it, and letting everyone die.

It'd make him look younger too.

So many PacMan users might go for it and PacMan, like McCain, knows how to win wars.
