One Reporter Greets McCain in NH, but He Does Get Town Hall Meeting Air Time...
MSNBC gave it 14 minutes, Fox 10 minutes, and CNN 4 minutes. It'd be sad if it wasn't so funny.

The Manchester Union Leader's Scott Brooks writes about the "stark contrast" between the coverage of John McCain, campaigning in New Hampshire today, and Barack Obama, campaigning, meeting with foreign leaders, and speaking to network anchors, in the Middle East and Europe.

In Manchester last night, there was just one reporter and one photographer waiting for McCain as his plane — a white, blue and gold Boeing 737-400 emblazoned with his campaign slogan, "Reform, Prosperity, Peace" — touched down on the Wiggins Airways tarmac.

For what it's worth, all three cable networks aired some of McCain's town hall meeting today in Rochester, NH. Of the three news channels, MSNBC aired the most of McCain, from 12:21-12:35pmET; FNC aired it from 12:17-12:27 and CNN took the McCain town hall from 12:22-12:26. All three aired this morning's Barack Obama news conference in Jordan.

2. That's pretty funny
Wouldn't it be a riot if the only coverage of his campaign was one pool reporter and whoever the crazies might send to cover?

4. It's simple free market economics. More demand for Obama related news
means more coverage for Obama and less for McCain.

8. Our media in Maine was clearly excited to have him here
Plus our two own "maverick" Senate lamers were with him.

Leave it to the Union Leader to whine about not enough enthusiasm for McCain.
