The Imploding McCain Campaign.
If my prayers are answered, the next 101 days will be for McCain exactly as the last few have been.

I will not rest easy until I see Obama's face on TV with the words "Obama Wins Presidency" written across it.

That said, I think this is the fundamental problem with McCain's campaign: The majority of the American people have grown over the last 8 years. They have crossed over into another place, driven there by the stupidity of George Bush, a war we should never have fought, and an ugly economy. The republican world view brought them here. John McCain nor any other republican has anything to say to them. The republican party never tells the truth in an election. They give bullshit to con a vote from people who they couldn't care less about. Maybe, at this time in history, people are on to them.

Remember 2000 when Bush held up a few dollar bills in his hand and said "It's your money...." Well, that kind of crap won't fly today and the republicans don't know how to do or say anything else.

A little off the topic, awhile ago I read an article that basically said that republicans were happier people than democrats. The bottom line was that while democrats worried a lot about the world and felt angst over hunger and poverty, republicans didn't really think it was up to them to worry about starving children in Africa and that the ills of the world wasn't their problem.

2. I'm still shellshocked
over the shambles Bush has made of our world. And I still fear that McCain is a straw dog, and won't really be the candidate. It's getting kinda late for that, though, so maybe my fears are unfounded.

4. You are saying how it should be, but why is McCain catching up in
major swing states. It makes no sense. I guess many are not paying attention yet, because McCain has certainly engineered a bumbling effort so far.

7. When Barack becomes President, I have no doubt he will do
a great job with a stellar Cabinet. Having said that, Repubs may be looking at twelve years plus (I'm going to assume the country will be in such great shape by then the next Dem will be a shoo-in) without a majority, let alone a repub pres. I'm loving it....
