Joe Scarborough more sucky and odious than ever this morning.
When John Harwood is the voice of reason on the Morning Joe panel, you know something's wrong.

1. Let's all stop watching him.
There must be something else on TV in the morning.

2. Thank you...I'm tired of saying this...
so I'm glad someone else is. You'd think this was the 70's or 80's and everyone only had 3 channels for options. Even the crappy local news is better than that talking head msnbc bullshit which is not news, it's political pro-wrestling.

And no, I don't buy the whole "We need to watch to know what the other side is doing." We're all on the internet if we're posting here and I never watch one minute of crappy cable news and I still manage to know exactly what they're saying.

I never thought I'd say this but the daily onslaught of "OMG JOE SCARBOROUGH BLAH BLAH SAID THIS BLAH BLAH DID THAT REPUG WHORE!!!" posts are worse than the ones we got when Imus was still on the air.

5. I like MSNBC, except for the Scar.
I never watch Morning Joe. I even leave the cable box tuned to the Weather Channel overnight so he doesn't get the ratings point. But once it's 9:00, my TV is on MSNBC essentially all day. (I work at home as a writer and take refreshing "breaks" hearing about endless Republican wrongdoing. I guess I'm a masochist.)

14. Yep ...
I simply do not watch the swarmy douchebag ... Other than that, I tune into MSNBC cause that is where BO and Dems get as much of a fighting chance as anywhere ...

Same philosophy with Glenn Beck, though I do catch a couple minutes every couple weeks just to see what he is babbling about, cause I DO know people who think he is an honest broker ...

But, I seriously stopped watching CNN when the brought him on board ... I thought it was a gutless and horrible move at a time when the conservative hold on the country was fading ... Bad enough they have no one other than Cafferty who will call it like it is, but they can't even bring in REAL journalist, they bring in a psychotic right winger ...

They seriously lost my business ...

Joe is a disingenious R pol ... Smug, swarmy and just completely partisan ...

I don't watch him at all, and wouldn't expect him to be anything other than a R propogandist ...

6. I only have 3 channels....
I dropped my cable TV 1 year ago. I get ABC, NBC, CBS.. all fuzzy. I feel much better when I quit watching O'Relly and Joe Scarborough.

4. This will explain it all.

Joe Scarborough CAMPAIGNS with George Bush in August 2004, when he feels it's perfectly fair to do so while hosting a "news" show on MSNBC.

12. He and Pat certainly do...
Try listening to their immediate reactions after an Obama press conference, speech, etc. Then listen to what they have to say the next day. There's often a huge difference.

Case in point was Obama's speech on race. Immediately afterwards, Buchanan was highly impressed, praising Obama strongly. The next day? The "it was just another speech", "he threw grandma under the bus", etc.

13. and he's always talking about doing something bc his "friends do"
Like when he said "I used to bash unions all of the time when I was running for re-election, because all of my Republican friends did, and then a plummer told me not to one day". Wow, Joe. Quite a heartwarmer, there.

15. i quit watching that show awhile ago; I do like Mika -
Edited on Tue Jul-29-08 08:24 AM by sparosnare
but all she is now is a piece of scenery reduced to background noises. Any time she tries to disagree with Joe or anyone else, she is treated like a stupid little girl.

Horrible show.

16. you mean to tell me that Mika the Meek showed absolutely no backbone
did you see how she folded when the McCain spokesman called her a Obama Supporter for being concerned about the lies in the no camera's in the military hospital ad.

Mika the Meek's response - I think Obama made a mistake by not visiting those troops and have said so since it happened and am saying it again now.

Is Scarborough's sidekick supposed to be comic relief?
