No more Mr Nice guy
Edited on Sun Aug-03-08 03:56 AM by barack the house
Firstly, I want to make clear that had Hillary become the nominee as a believer in the Democratic party, she would now have my 100 percent full support. I also highly commend all the Hillary supporters who realize what is at stake and are working for the nominee, but now I have no time for the party dividers. If McCain is now your candidate then go work your heart out for him but leave the Democratic party to saving what is left of America. If job losses, and loss of respect around the world isn't important to folks then this party is not for you. From this point I will not pander to those trying to split us apart. It is a with us or against us moment it's fall in line of step aside as I with hand on heart would of done for Hillary had she won. So respect to the former Hillary supporters working for a victory but as for those dividing us, the time for niceties is over. Time to show the fine class Hillary herself is showing and work to save what is left of America. Also as far as McCain goes we cannot let this bozo get the upper hand of us we need to speak the truth and speak it boldly. If there any further events with party dividers with bring musics speakers and drown them out. Too much at stake to give them a voice, the one voice we need is unity. EOM.

3. You are still aware...
...that the pointed, perniciously divisive primary term "low information voter" is still being bandied about as slur and metaphor for someone that disagrees with the hive mentality and therefore an ignorant voter, yes? That when it is suggested that the 'American People' will be to blame if the hive is upset by external forces; that that is code for 'ignorant, prejudiced, bigoted white voters', yes? That that card is *still* being played? Yes? That I have no opinion unless & until my opinion becomes convergent with yours, yes? Look...

The primaries are over. That is the mantra many receive when they attempt to express their views regarding the simplest observations such as the polls being within the margins of error in too many instances for comfort.

You want unity, as many clamor & counsel for? Often to no avail? Then make your contribution while it is I agree here most heartily, "I have no time for the party dividers"

Well, I have for a long while said give former Hillary supporters time but now it's time to move as a unit or fall apart that is all there is to it. It's just with all we have seen in the last 7 years and then some decide to work against the party, then I no longer have time for it really. It's 2 choices that stand a viable chance and that's all really.

9. Its not about "former Hillary supporters", get hip!! The primaries are long since over...
imo its about Obama supporters understanding where the trickier parts of the GE really are...now that we are here. Some do some clearly do not; clearly so. They seek to revisit the same ole snark & division they think they need to put forward to maintain a concept they intend to foist blame upon others if in the event it does not bare the fruit they've demanded throughout...its sad, really, but there it is

I'm just bemused at those still confused at what the options are at this point. It's simply more of the same or a chance at something better and the world returning as an ally of America and with it investment in jobs
