Check Kucinich's rise on the QC poll....not too shabby!
Edited on Mon Jan-05-04 03:56 PM by Desertrose
Click on the poll on this link....vote who you want...but look at the past polls....

Kucinich went from 7 votes to currently running a close third behind Dean... who is behind Kerry. (Deans numbers post debate numbers are interesting.....)

Just for those who doubt DK has a viable (well, OK- the only) message
......

2. maybe so....
but in DK's case...it would certainly indicate that if people actually get to hear his message...it does make a difference.....

but thanks for your input

13. again...going from 7 votes to 2nd place in a day's time...
...AFTER his message is heard...is meaningless?
I don't agree...

more important than the place he ends up is the increase and the fact that people are aware of him and seem to resonate to his message...

I'm a Kucinich supporter too
I'm just making a point on how conventional polling is crooked and distorted.

16. ooops...so sorry...
I am just amazed how Dennis can go from practically less than 0% to running second...
...at least people have heard of him now...and you are so right about conventional polling...

forgive me...guess we DK supporters have been in "defensive mode" for too long LOL

I'm not really for being in defensive mode. I'm all about putting back the "sinister" in "left".

The only thing that I have seen as far as polls go is an archcriminal being ahead of the usual slimy carpetbagging politicians.

See, some of us don't try to find ways around acting honorably. I vote once, period. Do YOU test to see if YOU can freep the poll?

26. Internet poll, mall poll, phone poll, mail poll, poll poll poll
all are comparatively meaningless.

Who else knows about or, better yet, remembers "Dewey Defeats Truman"?

3. Interesting. While I have little confidance in online polls...
...Dennis usually gets trounced in those too, except perhaps the Bartcop poll.

What happened here? Normally I'd say the poll was "Deaned" or "Clarked" but with Kerry in the lead, Dean in second, and Clark not showing, something else may be at play.

Looks like my personal favorite (Kucinich) may be getting some momentum...?

6. but to go from 7 votes and 2 days later to 3rd place?
This tells me that the more we get Dennis' message out the better he will do...its not that his platform doesn't appeal...its that it hassn't been heard!!!

GO DENNIS!!!!

19. still in second!
I wouldn't underestimate Willie's influence. He is revered among the Iowa farmers who have benefitted from his Farm Aid programs with Neil Young. If they are getting the word out about his endorsement, then maybe they will show up at the polls.

Plus, lots of good Iowa folks have loved ones in Iraq, and want them home...

5. every little bit helps...
meaningless or not i am elated at seeing that many votes for Dennis Kucinich...in any context it makes me smile

theres still time for foilks to realize just how strong his positions are, and how good it will feel to vote their conscience...to actually vote for a candidate that says what they believe for achangs, beyond 'electability'...

we are not lemmings

23. I support Clark, but I can't help but be happy for Denny.
He just works so darn hard, and he seems so darn sincere. A little radical, but sincere.

I just hope he doesn't take any votes away from Clark, but I think their supporters are very different.
