24. Amen!
True, they do have David Brooks for analysis (along with Mark Shields and - gasp! - historians!), but he's been behaving himself. And there's a lot less punditry. And no whacko callers.

The talking heads on MSNRC are getting annoying.
C Span is covering the "minor" speakers while the MSM
just passes gas.

7. After enduring the cable networks yesterday, I think you're right
the coverage last night was annoying and soured my mood. Michelle snapped me out of it pretty fast, but I don't intend on watching anything other than cspan, pbs, or bbc for the rest of the convention. If I have insomnia, I might watch a rerun on the cnn or msnbc but nothing more than that.

21. Yes it is. I grew up watching conventions so it's a walk dowm memory lane for me.
I wish those who are younger could know what it was like to listen to unbiased reporting as opposed to the divisive and altogether negative media we have today. In the old days that wasn't done. Journalists were really journalists and people did one amazing thing---

They made up their own minds.

The junk, and that's what it is nowadays, is so bad for our population.

83. The main reason is so that you can see ALL the speeches
and speakers, including the ones that the MSM doesn't deem high-profile enough. There are some outstanding lines and thoughts and ideas you will miss on the cable news shows. It's C-SPAN and sometimes PBS for me. I flip over to watch MSNBC for a few minutes at a time or during the little breaks.

And yes, it's a good idea to form your own opinions of what the highlights are and what was outstanding instead of having all those views and angles fed to you from the concern trolls and agitprop catapulters on TV.

appreciate them without someone telling me what I'm supposed to think.. these pundits have really become so over-inflated.. AND they think so highly of themselves. I mean look at the tribute to Russert that all kinda freaked us out.. they are ridiculous.. so def. live-stream or C-Span.
