Anyone watch FOX News' boatload of attacks on Dean? |
|
They had Peter Fenn on and some Republican strategist. I swear to god they all were volleyballing attacks on Dean.
In 5 minutes I heard:
Dean is too liberal Dean is soft on terrorism Dean wants to raise taxes Dean is angry Dean's at fault for the MoveOn.org ad Dean will lose a majority of congress seats in November Dean can't beat Bush Dean will divide the party from the moderates to the leftists Dean is too far left to come to the middle in the general election
Sorta surprised they didn't say Dean was the cause of the Titanic, the plague, Chicago fire and the WTC bombing.
It was GROSS and to think Peter Fenn is a Democratic strategist!

1. Peter Fenn seems so self-satisfied |
|
I like him when he goes after Bush, but he seems too much a protector of the Democratic status quo.

2. Didn't see it, don't watch them |

but it bears out the idea that Clinton's Cock is history! Dean's the new scapegoat for all that is evil in the world.
Er... except Bush*, that is. ;-)

3. Peter Fenn is a Lieberman supporter |
|
He was identified as such on a recent Hardball appearance. Nuff said.

6. Here is what is going on |
|
IMHO, Dean is an outsider and not beholding to any of them and backed by the power of the people and they are VERY AFRAID of that. What else explains the unrelenting and untrue bashing of Dean from all sides? I haven't seen them spending the time attacking any other democratic candidate. Is that because they think Dean has it wrapped up? So what happens if Clark gets the nomination? Do they switch all the attacks to Clark?? Somehow I doubt it. It is all very interesting.....

They are chomping at the bit to have Dubya face Dr Dean. They can't restrain their glee.

12. Right - that is why they're attacking him relentlessly. |
|
It looks more like they're scared of him, rather than hoping he wins the nomination.

I enjoyed listening to Rush talk about Dean today, the first time I ever agreed with him-- that I could remember.

16. Of course they take satisfaction out of it. |

Dean wins the nomination and the presidency, it will speak VOLUMES to the established Democrats.
They fear change; Dean/Kucinich/Braun bring that change.
