The numbers missed something: there were 85,001 people in that crowd tonight.
Remember, somewhere in that stadium, nodding silently, was the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr. saying, "Yes, we can!"

Feel blessed you witnessed this moment. People have compared this speech to JFK's, which was a half-century ago. They don't come around often.

I almost don't want to go to sleep so I can keep cherishing this day.

I can guarantee you, this speech is about to enter the school curricula for history and poli sci (perhaps even speech)
