One of two things is happening here
Edited on Fri Aug-29-08 11:41 AM by Faye
I don't post here a lot but I need to say this...

THE REPUBLICAN TICKET IS A FUCKING JOKE. Seriously, not just this Sarah Palin, but both of them.

I can't figure out if they PURPOSELY WANT to lose, or if a combination of 2000 and 2004 election fraud is already planned.

:wtf:

They are either thinking to let Dems win and have to deal with all the bullshit from Bush admin, OR they are seeing how lame of a ticket they can run and STILL win because of the voting machines they own.

Also, them picking her to get the support from so-called PUMAS is POINTLESS since they are already Republicans who were going to vote for McCain anyway. They really think we are all that stupid. :puke:

1. I got beat up last week for saying they wanted to lose
I just couldn't imagine how else they picked such a bad candidate and let him run such a crappy campaign. "don't know" how many houses he has?

7. A third possibility, which is
actually a variant of your second choice, is that They are curious as to the actual percentage of complete idiots in this country who will vote for anything with an R next to it. This time they are running The Grinch and Gidget. Next time, who knows?

8. I doubt the 'voting machine' theory.
In order to steal the election, it has to be close enough to steal. For instance, if it's an obvious landslide, but McCain wins, that's WAY too obvious for the rethugs to get away with.
They pulled it off in 2000 and 2004 because the election came down to a close race in a single state.
This year I don't think it'll be so easy for them.

11. I am very happy.
The GOPuke ticket is a joke and the American people will see right through it.

But I am sad, angry and pissed off because Sarah Palin is being exploited by her own party. She is being used as a political ploy. It's sickening.

12. I won't go so far as to say they're "trying"to lose, but rather "not caring about winning"
Bush will leave a mountain of shit to sort out, and the repukes will be relentless in their criticism of Obama trying to fix it. Meanwhile, they'll retool, regroup, and do everything possible to stop any positive legislation so that come 2010, they can say the Democratic congress was a failure and try to win back Congress. Then they can thwart Obama and declare him another Jimmy Carter and take back the White House.

Repukes are more interested in power than governing, and if gaining more power 4 years from now means giving it up now, they'll do it in a heartbeat.
