Anyone notice there is absolutely NO chemistry between
McCain and Palin? He can't even bring himself to look at her...

Her voice reminds me of that woman who called Murtha a coward, was it Schultz or something like that?

2. This is a shotgun marriage
My sister called and told me that McCain gave Palin a look sometime during her speech that wasn't very warm and fuzzy. She doesn't think they'll last long without a McCain meltdown or some major gaffe happening.

I'm sure this wasn't McCain's own choice. I don't know how well he can hide that.

3. Zero chemistry.
I wonder if they had even met each other before this process began.

A couple of days ago I was listening to David Gergen talking about how in his opinion "Chemistry" between the two candidates on a ticket is so important and that a lack of chemistry has sunk more than one ticket. He pointed out Kerry and Edwards as an example.

4. I wondered if anyone else noticed the voice.
She certainly looks better than she sounds! And yes, they looked pretty awkward together, especially McCain. Perhaps they will "bond" as the campaign goes on.

The Murtha remark was from Mean Jean Schmidt of Ohio.

9. Jean Schmidt!!!!
and YES we noticed he backed away from McCain twice when he was trying to hug her... they TOTALLY don't go together!

yes, she may seal the deal with GOP women, but my goodness, this pick screams desperation!

no one who knows what the Vice President would be responsible in doing, as she said on that cable program last month, has NO BUSINESS being VEEP! International affairs is a big responsibility, among being READY TO LEAD AS PRESIDENT - which she clearly isn't - she is a FAR cry from Biden - my GOD, help us, keep them from putting her in as VP!

WORST VP PICK IN HISTORY! worse than Quayle by a mile, shocking misjudgment by McCain and I hear Romney and Pawlenty among others, are FURIOUS!!!!!!
