The immediate question should always be, "If Palin was a man would she have been chosen?" The answer is obviously no. She has basically no experience. Even the state she runs is VERY different from the other 50 states in that it's entirely fed by big oil.
The next question should always be, "why was she chosen over other women?" There were perhaps half a dozen other Republican women with FAR more experience than her. I guess a beauty queen with no experience is far more qualified than women who have worked in government for decades?
The final question has to be, "did McCain believe he could work really well with Palin in a future administration?" According to ABC News, he met with her ONE TIME. Let me repeat that. ONE TIME.
So in the end, McCain has gambled the potential safety of America on a longshot bid for the Presidency. If god forbid John McCain were elected and god forbid he happened to pass away from cancer or a heart attack our great nation would be stuck with a President with ZERO foreign policy experience, ZERO experience running a real budget, and ZERO experience working across the aisle to promote change. A candidate who believes in creationism over science. A candidate who wants to take away a woman's right to choose. A candidate who's idea of change is to remove polar bears from the endangered species list ONLY so her state can drill for oil underneath them. The list goes on and on and on. She doesn't even know what a Vice President's office does.
Senator McCain will do anything to try to get elected, even offering up unqualified running mates ONLY because of sex and looks. It's sick.
